Silk tie, navy with gold polka dots

A polka dot tie, understated yet luminous, for winter suits. Worn with a sky blue shirt, it brightens a charcoal flannel or a navy suit.

The pattern: Small golden yellow dots, well spaced, are set in staggered rows on a navy ground with an open-weave texture. The raised texture of the silk makes the light play between dark blue and a brighter blue; from a distance, the tie remains navy, dotted with gold.
