Wool tie, plum with ducks

A wildfowling tie, in matt, warm wool. It is worn with a sky blue shirt and a herringbone tweed jacket.

The pattern: Ducks glide over the water between clumps of dark green reeds with rust-coloured spikes: some with bluish heads, others entirely orange-brown. The scenes are scattered freely over a plum ground; from a distance, the tie keeps a deep purple, warmed by touches of orange.

The material: 100% wool.

The make: Made in Italy. Width 8.5 cm.
