Linen tie, light grey with an olive and orange check

A checked linen tie, country in spirit, for sunny days. Wear it with a brown herringbone jacket and a green waistcoat, over a shirt with fine stripes.

The pattern: A large check on a light grey ground, traced in olive lines, single or doubled, and crossed by fine orange threads. The irregular texture of the linen softens the design; from a distance, the tie looks pale grey, criss-crossed with green.
