Linen and silk tie, plain dark purple

A plain tie in a very dark purple, almost aubergine, to step away from navy without drawing attention. The linen and silk make it light, for summer suits and between-season jackets.

The pattern: Plain: it is all in the material. The linen gives a slightly irregular texture, shot through with small slubs, and the silk a discreet sheen; depending on the light, the purple leans towards plum or midnight blue.
