Bottle green braces with fleurs-de-lys, dark brown tabs

Button-on braces in a deep green, scattered with fleurs-de-lys. They go with grey flannel, tweed or corduroy, and reveal themselves when the jacket is opened.

The pattern: Tone-on-tone fleurs-de-lys, in a lighter, more satiny green than the ground, set in staggered rows and well spaced. The fabric, with fine horizontal ribs, catches the light: from a distance, the braces look plain; up close, the fleurs-de-lys appear. The topstitched dark brown tabs and the silver-toned adjustment buckles complete the look.
