A blue-striped shirt for town, to wear with a navy double-breasted chalk-stripe suit and a burgundy tie. With its single cuffs, it goes to the office, out to dinner and into the weekend.

The pattern: Fine, regular blue stripes, separated by white bands that are barely wider. Under the jacket, the collar and shirt front show a crisp stripe, in a mid blue that complements the navy.
