The pattern: A large paisley pattern, on the scale of a silk square: broad arabesques outlined in turquoise, filled with olive dots, small orange flowers and blue fleurons, on a warm brown ground. Up close, you can follow the detail of the flowers; from a distance, the tie reads as brown and turquoise.
