Le Rome is Le Turin with peak lapels, in a herringbone Solaro. A cloth apart, with a sheen that shifts with the light.

The cut: Two-button jacket with peak lapels; soft, unstructured and half-lined. Slightly slanted pockets with a small ticket pocket, working buttonholes on the cuffs, pronounced topstitching on the lapels.

The cloth: 340 g ‘Solaro’ virgin wool, woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in the Biella region. Its two-tone weave creates the shifting sheen for which it is renowned. An autumn/winter weight.

The trousers: Classic single-pleat cut, belt loops and side adjusters, zip fly. Slanted pockets, two jetted back pockets.

The model: 1.86 m, 77 kg, athletic build. He wears a size 50.
