Shirt in cotton twill, dark green gingham
A dark green gingham, with a country look, for tweed jackets and corduroy trousers. It can also be worn under a navy blazer, with a wool tie.
The pattern: A fir green and white gingham in medium checks, crisp and regular. The solid checks, in a deep green, alternate with lighter checks and white ones; from a distance, the shirt looks a rich green.
The cloth: Hard-wearing cotton twill, with a fine diagonal, for a shirt you will keep for years.
