A midnight blue lifted by royal blue checks: a dark suit, never austere. It can be worn all summer long, from the office to evenings out.

The cut: Two-button jacket; soft, unstructured and half-lined. Slightly slanted pockets with a small ticket pocket, working buttonholes on the cuffs, detachable throat latch under the collar, pronounced topstitching on the lapels.

The cloth: Super 120’s wool twill. A fine wool, which the twill weave makes supple and hard-wearing. A summer cloth.

The trousers: Classic single-pleat cut, belt loops and side adjusters, zip fly.
