A tie with diagonal stripes, in a deep plum, for grey flannels and navy suits. Worn with a white shirt, it goes with a charcoal flannel three-piece suit with tennis stripes.

The pattern: Broad plum and navy bands alternate diagonally, separated by an off-white line. The finely ribbed silk catches the light; from a distance, the tie looks dark, striped with light.
