Here, ‘shepherd’s check’ dresses our winter safari jacket. On the beige ground, the brown, green and orange checks make it a warm jacket that stands on its own.

The cut: Three-button jacket with notch lapels; soft, unstructured and half-lined. Bellows patch pockets and adjuster tabs. At the back, a bellows pleat and a stitched half-belt.

The cloth: Virgin wool, in a pattern known as ‘shepherd’s check’. Warm, for winter.
