The double pleat, for roomy, comfortable trousers with a generous drape. Their bright blue makes a change from a more classic navy.

The cut: Vintage double-pleat cut. Slanted pockets with a coin pocket, side adjusters and zip fly, flapped back pockets.

The cloth: 340 g wool flannel, woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in the Biella region. Soft and warm, with a beautiful drape. An autumn/winter weight.

The model: 1.86 m, 77 kg, athletic build. He wears a size 42.
