A white shirt with a small blue check, halfway between plain and patterned, to wear under a suit or with a tweed jacket. With its single cuffs, it goes to the office, out to dinner and into the weekend.

The pattern: A close grid of fine blue lines on a white ground: a deep blue line alternates with a paler one, tracing a small, regular check. From a distance, the shirt looks a bluish white; up close, the double line can be made out.
