Navy braces with a red band, finished with braided cords. They are worn under a navy blazer or with grey flannel trousers.

The pattern: A red band in the centre of each strap, edged with two fine beige lines, on a very dark navy ground. The fabric has broad horizontal ribs, clearly marked. At the bottom of each strap, a dark piece cut to a point holds two braided navy cords; the adjustment buckles are silver-toned.

The make: Button-on braided cords, each finished with a buttonhole. Adjustable length.
