The house’s English heritage, in a deep navy herringbone. The pattern only reveals itself up close: a discreet detail that makes a change from a more classic plain blue.
The cut: Fitted English cut, two-button jacket. Slanted pockets with a small ticket pocket, working buttonholes on the cuffs, topstitching on the lapels and pockets.
The cloth: 360 g worsted virgin wool, woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in the Biella region. A dense cloth that holds its shape well. An autumn/winter weight.
The trousers: Single pleat, side adjusters and a button fly, as English tradition requires. Slanted pockets, two jetted back pockets.
Optional: The six-button single-breasted waistcoat, for the three-piece version.
The model: 1.86 m, 77 kg, athletic build. He wears a size 50.
